NEW:   UltraScan III  version 4.0! Versions beyond 2600 take advantage of 1-second-interval TimeState information from the new Optima AUC ultracentrifuge to achieve greater accuracy in finite element modeling; and add other important enhancements (read the announcement). The recommended version is now v4.0, Release >= 5800.

Minor revision numbers (e.g., 2600) had been based on subversion repository revision. They are now based on GitHub revision (e.g., 5800).

There is a recent change in Instrument Configuration that relates particularly to database instances where the lab includes one or more Optimas. In the past, configuration was on a per-user basis. Now, the Optima and other instrument configurations are in the database and are on a per-instance basis. From revision 2625 on, users may need to reconfigure lab instruments, including Optima Host(s), via the desktop Preferences -> Instrument Preferences dialog.

Version 4.0, 64-bit: Archive

Special MacIntosh Notes

The most recent installations for MacIntosh (post revision 5812) are for MacOSX revisions from 10.11 (El Capitan) or later. If the OSX revision on your Mac is earlier than 10.11, please try to upgrade to El Capitan or newer. If that is not possible, please inform us. We can build a special version that works for revisions as old as 10.8.
